• Qualified ACCA/ACA or CIMA with strong breadth of Management Accounting experience.

About the Company

Based in Kingston Upon Hull (West), my client is a privately owned FMCG organisation boasting a diverse client portfolio across the UK and Mainland Europe. As the business continues to grow the need has arisen to recruit a strong and capable interim management accountant to support the Financial Controller across a range of month end duties.

About the role

Specific responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Monthly P & L analysis.
• Accruals and Prepayments.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• VAT Returns.
• Cash flow forecast & projection work.
• Prepare monthly KPIs, and provide in-depth analysis of variances around work in progress.
• Implement “best practice” procedures across transactional areas of the Finance Function.

Candidate Profile

Qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT or Qualified by Experience, you will possess a wide variety of management accounting skills with the ability to convey financial information in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of excel in addition to excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail.
