My client is a highly regarded, privately owned niche manufacturing business based in Kingston Upon Hull, East Yorkshire. From its purpose-built state of the art manufacturing facility products are supplied to customers throughout the world. With a reputation for product and service excellence the need has arisen to recruit an exceptional Finance Lead to compliment the existing Executive management team.

About the role

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and production of monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis and commentary.
• Preparation of periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis and commentaries.
• Own the financial results; ensure integrity on the balance sheet. Accurately reconcile, maintain, and report on a monthly basis.
• Assist with the production of the year-end accounts and other information to support the audit process.
• Report weekly results and KPI’s for executive management.
• Understand and analyse operational data driving financial numbers.
• Development of Dashboard reporting.
• Preparation, review, and submission of VAT returns.
• Ad-hoc duties as required.

Candidate Profile

Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or Qualified by Experience, you will already possess a wide variety of management accounting skills with the ability to convey financial information in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of excel in addition to excellent organisational skills and an attention to detail.
