About the Company

Based in Kingston upon Hull my client is a highly respected manufacturer of bespoke products boasting an enviable portfolio of high street retail clients across the UK. As part of the continued evolution of the Finance Function the need has arisen to recruit a high calibre Finance Manager.

About the Role

Responsibilities include:

• Management and Supervision of a small finance department comprising sales/purchase ledger and payroll.
• Responsible for the completion of the Month End process reviewing with the Financial Controller.
• Supervise the preparation of the daily cashflow requirements and supplier payments.
• Production and analysis of P&L, Balance sheet, and KPI, s.
• Prepare and submit government declarations including EC Sales/Intrastat and VAT.
• Review and submit Supplier Payments ensuring all BACS reports are processed and bank details are kept up to date.
• Drive the importance of costing across the business to assist managers in making key strategic decisions.
• Work with Production Management team gaining an understanding of manufacturing costs, processes, and yields.

Candidate Profile:

You will possess strong Management Accounting experience with a proven ability to convey financial information to non-finance managers in a confident and persuasive manner. You will have proven analytical and reporting skills through advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel in addition to possessing excellent organisational and time management skills as well as attention to detail.
